Chris Labrooy, a UK-based 3D artist and designer who explores CGI as a creative medium, is well known for his mind-wobbling car sculptures and collaboration with the likes of Apple, Porsche, Nike, British Airways, Time Magazine, McDonald’s, Target, and more. His latest work is a winter cabin combined with a vintage Volvo station wagon in a strange way.
The vintage Volvo 240 has for long been considered an ideal family car. People still have an emotional attachment with it, which makes this eccentric artwork interesting for most.
The car sculpture comprises two Volvo 240s combined together to look like an inverted mirror image. It is then slid snugly into a cabin with a special opening.
