Looking for innovative laundry products from CES 2020? You may be interested in LG’s new AI-powered TWINWash Washer. Winner of Innovation Award CES 2020, the new LG ThinQ smart washer can identify different fabric types with integrated AI and sensors, and program the optimal wash cycle setting accordingly, without the need for any human interference.
It features an Artificial Intelligent Direct Drive (AI DD) motor along with the company’s AI-powered Proactive Customer Care service that can alert users of potential problems, expedite repairs, and offer useful maintenance tips.
The washing cycle is determined by comparing the information collected from the laundry load with different data points related to washer usage, which according to the company, improves cleaning and extends the life of garments by 15 percent.
With the new ezDispense feature, the washer can automatically add the right amount of liquid detergent and fabric softener according to the load size. It can also send an optimal dryer setting for each load directly to the compatible LG dryer automatically – thanks to the new LG Smart Pairing feature.
LG ThinQ smart washer can offer wash cycle recommendations and notify users when the laundry detergent is running low. It can also connect with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant to let users control the washer with voice commands. Users can even enable Amazon Dash Replenishment service to reorder the pre-selected laundry supplies automatically.
