Update (21/11/2020): Hisense’s latest ultra short throw (UST) 4K laser projector is now available for purchase. Get it for about $3,999* on Amazon.
Renowned Chinese consumer electronics and appliance manufacturer Hisense has launched a new ultra short throw (UST) 4K laser projector at CES 2020, which it willingly calls a 4K laser TV. The new L5 projector features a wide 4K color range, offers up to a 100-inch image, and comes built-in with dbx-tv speakers.
According to the company, the L5 UST 4K projector uses a blue laser to offer crisp and clean picture quality, while avoiding unwanted light dispersion. Hisense’s new laser TV boasts 2,600 lumens brightness, a smaller color gamut, and an Android TV smart platform. It has many specifications similar to the Hisense’s earlier L10 short-throw Laser TV, except that this one comes for a lower price tag.
