Alex Dodson of Burned by Design, based in Barnsley, England specializes in custom-themed fire pits or BBQs. We have seen fire pits in the shape of ATST, Darth Vader, and many other famous Si-Fi creations from Alex, but the Millennium Falcon fire pit is perfect for the galaxy far, far away.
It is a scaled-down version of Millennium Falcon whose profiles were prepared in a CAD software over two days. The profiles were precision laser cut from 3mm mild steel. There are folding parts forming the ship’s cockpit, lid, and detailing, all been mounted to a 500mm steel bowl that forms the body of the ship and fire bowl.
The Millennium Falcon fire pit has a well-hidden hinge which means when not in use the lid can be closed, making it a tiny, fully detailed spaceship landed in your backyard. Fold open the rear section to reveal the fire pit. It measures 75 x 55 x 35 cm and weighs about 30 kgs.
