Winner of 2019 Red Dot Design Award, Orimono is a decorative radiator created by internationally renowned designer Marco Taietta for Italian company IRSAP. Featuring a circular silhouette, it is a wall-mounted radiator that makes use of wool and textiles to blend into home settings.
What we really liked about its design is how elegantly it sits on a wall like a piece of wall decor, making the space feel so warm and inviting.
Radiators are generally made from cold materials like stainless steel or aluminum but this one is different with its colorful front. The Orimono radiator is made in an aluminum frame with Kvadrat fabric on the front, making it look like wall decor.

Orimono adopts a contemporary textile clad on a circular figure with an appreciable diameter of 1400 mm. The Kvadrat fabric used in making this radiator is a mixture of 90% natural wool and only 10% nylon.
It comes in both hydraulic and electric versions with five different colors choices for fabric; you can pick the radiator in the color and tone of your choice to complement your home interior.
People are likely to mistake this elegant radiator as an item of decor. When you have it on the wall, no one would be able to guess it’s actually a radiator unless you brief them about its amazing performance.
There is no word on its pricing and availability yet. But this radiator was seen at the Milan Furniture Fair 2019 recently.
