There was a time when people struggled to build an 18-foot mobile dwelling. Nowadays, tiny houses double that size are popping up on the market every other day. Designed by Australia’s Brad The Builder Tiny Homes, this 36-foot-long towable dwelling is inspired by the owner’s love of comfort and sustainability, while choosing a life on the road and in his foundry. Brad has designed multiple mobile habitats to date but this tiny house is the longest.
Thanks to its expansive length, the 36ft tiny house offers a generous open space that includes a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom with plenty of room to move about. A large sliding glass door welcomes visitors into the home’s living room. Although 7.8-foot-wide, the space looks bigger thanks to the open-floor layout. Brad and his team have done a good job tailoring it to the owner’s taste and interest. The living room is furnished with a custom-made sofa bed, ottoman, coffee table, and side table.
A little ahead is the kitchen of the tiny house. As if tailor-made for culinary enthusiasts, the kitchen features appliances ranging from a ducted range hood and microwave cupboard to fridge space and a freestanding gas oven with hot plates and a grill. It also includes two pantries and multiple cabinets to stock ingredients and utensils.
Akin to Decathlon Tiny Homes’ building style, Brad The Builder has outfitted a bathroom between the kitchen and the bedroom. The bathroom is big enough and fits a toilet, a glass-enclosed shower, space for a washing machine, and a vanity sink.

Since it’s a single-level dwelling, the main bedroom is positioned at the end and has ample standing room, two dressers, two built-in wardrobes, and a queen-size storage bed that sleeps a couple. The bedroom also has a sliding door for a separate entrance, optimum airflow, and natural light.
The tiny home is based on a triple-axle trailer and features a Colorbond roof, Weathertex cladding, and aluminum windows. Combined, these features add a modern touch, while the smoke alarm and waterproof membrane paint ensure your safety and the longevity of the dwelling. Priced at AUD 95,000, the 36ft tiny house gets power from a standard RV-style hookup but can also be customized for a solar panel setup.
