The New Zealand couple – Barb and PK have designed a 3-bedroom tiny house, earmarked to be their retirement home. The couple have thoughtfully designed this house with uncompromising passion and keen interest. Earlier this house was built as an Airbnb, but the couple liked it so much that they planned to use it for their personal use after their retirement. Until then, this house has become a sanctuary for their friends and family.
The tiny house has a black exterior with timber wood, making it aesthetically appealing. This dwelling is 36 feet long and 9 feet wide. Unlike other tiny houses, this dwelling features an expanded outdoor area.
The covered outdoor space is designed as an extension of the living space but it becomes so much more. It has a space for outdoor cooking and dining, lounging, and an outdoor bathtub as well.
In addition to this, the two lofts have been made into separate spaces for reading and working. The living area is fitted under the walkway joining the two lofts. There is even a wood-burning fireplace in the space to keep the house snug.
Next is a U-shaped kitchen that offers enough storage for keeping your essentials. The kitchen also has a four-burner stove, ample space for keeping your utensils and a refrigerator.

Adjacent to the kitchen is the bathroom which features an incinerated toilet that offers better waste management. Inside this bathroom, you will find a shower and a large mirror that enhances the elegance of the bathroom.
The interesting fact about this house is its ground-floor master bedroom that boasts a high ceiling. In this bedroom, you will find a window that allows the sunlight to enter inside the room. The couple have also built a glass house beside the house.
This 3-bedroom tiny house is one of the most extraordinary builds we have seen so far. It will make you want to embrace the downsized lifestyle. So are you ready?
