Tiny houses are an absolute rage. So much so, that they are available everywhere – offline as well as online. You’d find them in the nooks of Amazon and even discover them in the cranny of Home Depot. If there was one place, where they always were available, and I didn’t pay much heed to, it was Etsy. With tiny houses trending worldwide, I thought of wading through the platform, to bring you a peach of a mobile home. This $20K Tiny House is listed by KnotPerfectionMill and serves as a cozy weekend retreat.
Built on a double-axle trailer, the tiny home is completely handmade and can even be utilized as a camper, mobile cabin, garden shed, ADU, mobile studio, or mobile office, and the options are endless. “I built this THOW-style glamping trailer over the last few years from the ground up. We have used it as a camper for my family of three exclusively on Lake Lanier a few times per year for the last 3 summers. I have started building a bigger version similar to this one that will accommodate a few guests sleeping over. So, I am listing this for sale,” mentions the DIYer behind the project.
Measuring 19 feet long and 6.5 feet wide, the tiny house boasts a wooden body. “It is built very solid and features hurricane straps and other structural metal joiners at every joint while using the recommended structural screws,” mentions the DIYer. The tiny house is insulated throughout with foam board, while the metal roof on the exterior adds durability to the structure.
On the inside, the tiny house features a kitchen that has a sink with a 48-gallon RV-style grey water tank. The kitchen also hosts a range of features from a refrigerator to an air conditioner, and also consists of a cabinet with four drawers for storage. Adjacent is the bedroom of the tiny house. Equipped with a fold-out queen-size bed, the bedroom sleeps a couple of people with ease and can function as a sofa once retracted to the wall. One can’t get eyes off the beautiful live edge cedar, poplar, and pine siding, while beetle-kill pine flooring adds strength and durability to the floor.

If you pondering about hygiene, there is enough room at the back for an enclosure for a toilet and sink. If customized a little, it can equip a wet bathroom with a shower as well. “I will consider installing an RV toilet and sink and black water tank for the buyer depending on the negotiated price,” states the DIYer. Having said that, the tiny house is currently available on Etsy for a price tag of $20,000.
