Living Vehicle, as the name suggests, is a sublime way of living on wheels; designed and formulated to perfection – first as necessity and now with passion – by founders Joanna and Matthew Hofmann. Thriving on their idea of finetuning travel trailers to achieve net-zero goal and users’ requirements, after the Creative Studio remote office, Living Vehicle introduces the 2023 model with an integrated solar system to produce its own drinking water.
With the addition of Watergen’s Atmospheric Water Generator (AWG), the trailer can draw its own portable water from atmospheric moisture. The fan mounted on the wall vent pulls in humidity from the air into the Watergen AWG where it condenses and then the water is run through stringent onboard multi-stage filtration and purification process to provide 19 liters of fresh water (stored in a tank) to the occupants on 2023 Living Vehicle Travel Trailer.
The dispensed water, the makers believe, is clean and convenient to drink/cook with, right out of the tap. Since the Watergen system is integrated into the trailer, it runs on the power from the solar-connected battery system on the trailer. The system makes water from humidity levels of as little as 20 percent, which means, it does so on all occasions and in all locations. So additional harvested water is routed into the 379-L onboard fresh water tank.
This is arguably the first production-ready travel trailer with the system to create drinkable water from air. The 2023 travel trailer is constructed on the LV base model, which in its own right is a self-sufficient trailer to go with. And with an optional water generator to create drinking water from ambient humidity, the solar-powered travel trailer is appropriate for off-grid camping in remotest areas beyond crowded campgrounds and RV parks.
The 2023 Living Vehicle, as its norm for the company, has its own roof-top solar power plant and battery system, capable of creating enough power for off-the-grid adventures. Along with enough water and power for an entire family, we think, the LV model with the capacity to sleep six is one of, if not the best, travel trailers money can buy right now. Unquestionably, it is a lot of money we are talking about (more on it later).

Designed to go farther from civilization with onboard electric power and clean water, the Living Vehicle has up to 3,400 watts of deployable solar power capability (on the PRO model – flagship Living Vehicle) and it can be integrated with the Creative Studio featuring state-of-the-art technology from Apple for working on the go.
Built completely from aluminum, the Living Vehicle trailer is a spacious recreation vehicle with a master suite, dining, lounge convertible into a secondary sleeper. It has a functional kitchen and bathroom, and a fold-out porch to name a few amenities. The 2023 Living Vehicle will come in Core, Max, and Pro models; the Core – base model – starts at $339,995. Each option is custom-built with a 10–12-month lead time.
