To tap into every kid’s imagination and add personality in their room, Portugal-based furniture brand Circu has created Rocky Rocket armchair. Inspired from the “Toy’s Story” movie, especially from cartoon character “Buzz Lightyear” and his belief to become the true space ranger, the rocket-shaped armchair is completely handmade.
First showcased at Maison & Objet 2016, the body of the chair is made from fiberglass, while the interiors are upholstered with red velvet fabric. Bearing resemblance to rocket, the chair includes ample storage space for kids to stuff in their toys.
Designed to create a personal space station in every kids’ room, the light and sound system fitted in the armchair can be controlled via mobile app and comes with additional options like the choice of music, light effects and sleep time.
Measuring 200 x 160 x 135 cm, the staircase made from wood is provided with a small safe secret, while the interiors are made from a new velvet flocking technique. Finished with non-toxic paints and varnishes, the use of vibrant red and white color makes it a desired product for kids room.
Available in limited edition, the Rocky Rocket armchair is the perfect place for your little budding astronauts who is fascinated with spaceships and wants to become a true space ranger like Buzz Lightyear someday.
