What kind of mini house can suffice the needs of a single owner and her loved furry friends? The answer is 15 feet Fern Louise tiny house built on 18 feet double axle trailer. In 2019, when a client named Shana Little planned to move from north Texas to Durango, she contacted Rocky Mountain Tiny Houses to build her dream tiny dwelling. She parents two little dogs, so she wanted a design that would meet her needs, as well as that of the pets.
The front of the house has a three-feet and six-inch covered porch with a guardrail and a latched front gate. The main door has a doggie door which means Shana’s dogs can enjoy sitting outdoors whenever they want. The heated space of the house measures almost 15 feet long. This tiny house is NOAH-certified which guarantees its high quality for years to come.
The house’s exterior is painted white with a black metal roof slanted on both sides, making it look like a perfect small house on wheels. The interior of the home features spray foam insulation to maintain the optimum temperature. It comes with an installed 110v mini split HVAC (with a remote control) and there’s also a wooden stove in this tiny home. Altogether, these inclusions ensure one can enjoy living confortably in Fern Louise for all seasons.
The kitchenette looks streamlined and has matte black cabinets with butcher block countertops. It also has a two-burner gas cooktop, oven and an apartment-size fridge. There are shelves above the sink, meaning you have ample space for storage in the kitchen.

The bathroom of the Fern Louise tiny house offers a composting toilet, shower with matte black hardware and 2 built-in shelves above the toilet seat which can be used to store bathroom essentials or laundry.
